We are blessed to have baptisms every week in our mission but there are a few that are standout baptisms. This is a BEAUTIFUL picture of the priesthood! This 104 year old woman was taught by these two great missionaries Elder Christensen and Elder Falcon and recognized the importance of baptism. She desired to have this saving ordinance here in this life. What a wonderful capture we have as these priesthood leaders prepare for this sacred event. It should be noted that this has been a cold winter! You can see that the children are all wearing coats. For this woman to ask for baptism at this time of year is an act of faith in and of itself! In addition she is from and area where most people will never have a bath or swim in a pool or pond, understanding that she would be immersed in water is another incredible act of faith of a beautiful daughter of God.
