Summer FHE

Elder Kuhn, Elder Mateo, Hermana Reyes, Hermana Diaz, Elder Rodriquez, Elder Kaaren
A hot evening spent with a great group of missionaries for Family Home Evening.  We loved learning about the Family Proclamation and enjoying a bit of shaved ice.  I am glad there was a reason we brought that machine all the way to Paraguay and then had to find a transformer that could handle the power.  Eat up!

Preparing for 6 important weeks

This month will be very different for us.  Again we are going to have the opportunity for a visit from an Apostle!!  Elder Gong will be here soon and all our mission will gather again.  Because of the opportunity to bring the whole mission together twice in three weeks we will not do zone conferences.  Our Councilio this month is very important as these leaders in our mission will need to carry the excitement of our December goals, the church Christmas initiative and the training to the zones.  We know that we have an excellent group here that can do it!

The bitter after the sweet

This was the flip side of treat...... I don´t think it could be called a trick but we are definitely going to miss these great missionaries!  We are excited for their families and anxious to see them grow more as they move forward in life.

What a Treat!

For Halloween this year we received a real treat!!  No tricks in this group of fantastic missionaries!  We are so excited to add 14 more to our family of missionaries!  We had them come to us from 4 different MTC`s so we had them trickle in through the night and morning.  We love the dimension that these missionaries bring as they come from different countries, backgrounds, and experiences in the gospel.  They bring to us a diversity that blesses many different teaching experiences and enriches the quality of our missionaries.
