Moving forward

For the last six months we have had Elders going to Mistolar to work with the Nivicale.  They usually stay for two of three weeks and pretty much camp the whole time. They must pack in enough food for the whole time and food that will require no refrigeration. It is a trick! Elder Singer is our resident expert since he has been on every trip but we have had Elders Bickley, Marcum and Hermansen all play very important roles in this very important assignment.
For the past few trips Elder Singer and Elder Hermansen have worked hard to get all parents married legally and prepare those that are able to attend the temple for the first time in many years the end of this month.  They have driven back and forth over crazy roads making arrangements and getting judges lined up and working with the people to prepare and teach them.  They are making a HUGE impact and we are so grateful for all that is being done.  This last week they helped baptize a few people but more importantly, they helped the fathers and the grandfathers baptize their own posterity!  Awesome!

We hope to have between 70-100 attend the temple at the end of the month.
